tanley Randolph was an English-born monk in the Kingdom of Jerusalem. One day in 1191, after he left his home, he was ambushed by a group of thugs outside of the city walls of Acre and behind a fence of tall logs. He was rescued by Altair Ibn-La'Ahad, who also assassinated the Knights Hospitaller men-at-arms who tried to intervene. Randolph thanked him, and a group of religious monks acted as vigilantes to help Altair enter the city without being detected.
